Looking for a Frightfully Good Job? USPS is Hiring in October

If your current job is sucking the life out of you, maybe it’s time to dig up something new. October is the most wonderful time of the fear to find a spooktacular job with the Postal Service.

A career with the Postal Service promises treats and no tricks. Postal employees can have a stable career, wickedly good pay, lifelong benefits, and nearly endless career advancement opportunities throughout the entire agency.

Mail carriers, handlers, and clerks are still very much in demand at Postal Service locations in Oregon. But CDL drivers, maintenance technicians and other positions are also available.

Employees will be available to help fair attendees with benefits, qualifications, and application questions. Laptops will be available on the day of the event for immediate application submission.

Starting pay varies depending on the job. But starting pay for carriers ranges between $19 and $20 per hour paid bi-weekly. Applications are accepted online at www.usps.com/careers.
Applicants must be 18 years of age and be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation. Although in some instances, interested candidates can also be 16 with a high school diploma. Applicants must also be available to work weekends and holidays.
