November Job Fair Events in Oregon
The Postal Service is in the midst of our busiest season and now is a great time to apply for a new postal career.
Joining the Postal Service now gives new employees an opportunity to experience, and better understand, the importance of keeping millions of people connected during the holidays and beyond. With that understanding comes a sense of pride in your community and your work.
It’s this feeling of pride that motivates Portland, Oregon customer service manager, Jessica Ball, “As far back as a child I loved sending letters and cards to people because I knew it brought joy and happiness to them. Now as an adult, working for the Postal Service, I see the joy and happiness even more when people get that one letter from their friend or family member they haven’t talked to or seen in a while.”
Statewide, mail carriers, handlers, and clerks are still very much in demand. But there are also other positions available such as CDL drivers and maintenance technicians.
A career with the Postal Service offers stability, good pay, lifelong benefits and nearly endless career advancement opportunities throughout the entire agency.
The Postal Service continues to look for energetic new hires with the goal to fill hundreds of positions in the state. No appointment is necessary to attend the job fair events.
