“Leave nothing for tomorrow which can be done today.” Abraham Lincoln

ERIE, PA – We hear you. Your business is changing and so is the Postal Service.

The Erie Post Office, located at 2108 E. 38th Street, will be open for retail transactions, on Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 17, 2020. Hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Customers will also be able to drop-off outgoing mail.

The Postal Service has traditionally observed the federal holiday known as Washington’s Birthday. Opening post offices on this non-widely observed holiday will allow customers to conduct their postal business as usual.

Information on locations and operating hours can be found online at usps.com.

There will be no street delivery on Presidents Day. Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020.

Register for Informed Delivery informeddelivery.usps.com and see your mail before it’s delivered to your mailbox.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
