Customers asked to deposit mail early in the day on Monday
PITTSBURGH, PA -- Postal Service facilities will be closed for retail transactions on Monday, January 18, in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. There will be no regular mail delivery and limited collection runs will be conducted throughout Pittsburgh and the Western PA District which encompasses PA ZIP Code areas: 150-168 and 260 in West Virginia.
Although, there will not be regular mail delivery on the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, Priority Mail Express is delivered 365 days a year and will be delivered on January 18. Normal delivery and collection schedules will resume Tuesday, January 19.
The Postal Service is asking that customers deposit their mail in collection boxes in front of businesses, on main streets and in front of Post Offices - early in the Sunday - to assist collections drivers in transporting the mail to processing centers earlier.
For added customer convenience, Self-Service Kiosks (SSK) are available at the following Western PA District locations and most provide 24-hour access to many postal products and services:
