Memorial Day Holiday Mail Accommodations

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Postal Service facilities will be closed for retail transactions on Monday, May 31, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. There will be no regular mail delivery and limited collection runs will be conducted throughout the Delaware – Pennsylvania District, which encompasses PA ZIP Code areas: 189 -196 and Delaware ZIP Code areas: 197-199. 

Although, there will not be regular mail delivery on the Memorial Day holiday, Express Mail is delivered 365 days a year and will be delivered on May 31. Normal delivery and collection schedules will resume Tuesday, June 1.

For added customer convenience, Self-Service Kiosks (SSKs) are available at the following locations and provide 24-hour access to many postal products and services:

Using a credit or debit card, these self-service kiosks enable customers to conduct business at their convenience. SSKs enable customers to:

  • Purchase self-adhesive “Print-On-Demand” stamps.
  • Weigh, calculate, and purchase postage in amounts for items weighing up to 70lbs.
  • Send items via Priority Express Mail, Priority Mail, First Class Mail and by Parcel Post services.
  • Look up ZIP Codes and obtain Postal Service mailing information.
  • Obtain Priority Express Mail, Certified Mail, and Return Receipts
  • Purchase USPS Tracking™ service.
  • Obtain a purchase receipt.
  • Pay Post Office Box rents.
