Final Decision On Proposed Relocation Of Dublin, PA Main Post Office

What:

In 2021, the U.S. Postal Service® is relocating the Dublin PA, Post Office.

Background:

The removal of the previous post office location in Dublin, PA made way for the developer of the Dublin Town Center new build project to move forward with immediate construction plans. Customers can still retrieve their mail in the box lobby of 123 N Main Street in Dublin. The USPS® is moving to a space of approximately 1800 square feet withparking within the new building at the Dublin Town Center. The proposed new facility will maintain the same level of service.

Postal retail services will remain in the community at a new physical location within the same geographical ZIP Code area. There will be no changes to mail delivery, customers’ addresses or Post Office Boxes because of this reestablishment. Retail Services will continue at the current site in Doylestown PA, accompanied by Box lobby service at 123 N Main St until all necessary preparations complete at the new location.

While the Postal Service is sensitive to the impact of this decision on its customers and the community, the Postal Service properly considered community input and this decision is consistent with Postal Service objectives. Postal Service operations are not supported by tax dollars. To be self-sustaining, the Postal Service must make decisions that ensure it provides adequate and affordable postal services in a manner that is as efficient and economical as possible.

Normal operations will return to Dublin once construction and appointments to the new facility are complete.  USPS thanks the public for their goodwill and patience.
