Philadelphia, PA — The Postal Service will temporarily lock the following blue collection boxes during the Main in America Event due to road closures throughout the extended weekend. The boxes will be locked beginning Thursday, September 2 and will reopen Tuesday, September 7.

Delivery Services are planned to remain normal Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Priority Express will be delivered on those days as well as Sunday and Monday (Labor Day).

Customers may purchase stamps and other philatelic products through the Postal Store at usps.com/shopstamps, by calling (844) 737-7826, by mail through USA Philatelic, or at Post Office locations nationwide.

The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
