Postal Service hiring 400 in Philadelphia area

Nationwide offering 28,000 positions to help with the holidays

Philadelphia, PA — The United States Postal Service continues to hold onsite job fairs throughout the Philadelphia area as it looks to bolster its workforce to help during the upcoming holiday season. In addition to its traditional hiring for the holidays, under its Delivering for America Plan, Philadelphia’s processing centers have now added a third high speed package sorting machine and finds itself well positioned for the expected package push.

To assist potential applicants, USPS personnel will be onsite at the job fair to provide detailed information about the positions and to answer questions. Applications are accepted online only at www.usps.com/careers. Applicants must be 18 years of age and be able to pass drug screening and a background investigation.
