Philadelphia, PA - The United States Postal Service’s DE-PA2 District - which encompasses Northeast PA and Delaware - will hold a one-day hiring fair January 11, 2023, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at all its major post offices.

The one-day event will allow postal applicants to visit any nearby post office to learn about job descriptions, current positions available throughout the district, roadmaps and how to navigate the hiring process. USPS representatives will be on hand to meet and greet all potential applicants.

“If you love the outdoors and enjoy customer interaction,” perhaps you would like to be a letter carrier,” said Paul Smith, spokesman. “Or if you enjoy the outdoors and love the rural area, a rural carrier position would be ideal. Come see what we have to offer.”

Applications are accepted online only at www.usps.com/careers. Applicants must be 18 years of age and be able to pass a background investigation. 

EDITOR’S NOTE: The USPS DE-PA District includes any town whose ZIP Code begins with 180 through 199. So, for example, the Lehigh Valley area has towns beginning with 180, Scranton area (185), Philadelphia burbs (190), Philadelphia (191) and Delaware (197-199).
