USPS Delivering Multiple Hiring Fairs in Philadelphia and Suburbs

PHILADELPHIA – The United States Postal Service will hold four hiring fairs this week for potential applicants looking to Deliver for America.

“There has never been a more opportune time to work locally for the Postal Service which is proudly known as one of the most trusted brands in the nation,” says Paul F. Smith, spokesperson for USPS.

Hiring fairs within the city will be held April 13th at the Germantown Post Office, 5209 Greene St., and April 14th at the North Philadelphia Post Office, 2601 N. 16th St. from 10 a,m. – 2 p.m.

Outside the city, hiring fairs will be April 13th at the Scranton Post Office, 2800 Stafford Ave., and April 14th at Ft. Washington Post Office, 575 Pinetown Rd. from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

To assist potential applicants, USPS personnel will be onsite at the job fair to provide detailed information about the positions and to answer questions. Applications are accepted online only at www.usps.com/careers. Applicants must be 18 years of age and be able to pass a background investigation.
