Philadelphia - The United States Postal Service will be present at the Pennco Tech Career fair (Automotive Shop Building 1), 99 Erial Road, Blackwood, NJ 08012, on February 27, 2024, from 9 am – noon, seeking employees who want to work at its Vehicle Maintenance Facilities (VMFs) in south Philadelphia and in Hunting Park.

“We are excited to participate in this fair and offer applicants an opportunity to work for the government’s Most Trust Agency and support a national fleet that is Delivering for America,” says Humberto Berrios, USPS Supervisor, Vehicle Maintenance.

The U.S. Postal Service operates one of the largest civilian fleets in the U.S. The Postal Service owns approximately 217,000 delivery vehicles, including both purpose-built and commercial-off-the-shelf. The Postal Service maintains this fleet using over 300 VMFs  throughout the country. Vehicle maintenance includes selecting and training mechanics; providing garages, tools, and equipment; and monitoring and maintaining preventive maintenance standards to ensure that VMFs support the Postal Service’s mission to deliver to 161 million addresses in the United States.
