PHILADELPHIA – The United States Postal Service will host a job fair complete with a tour April 23, 2024, at its Hunting Park Post Office at 10 a.m. Applicants also have the option of visiting the Germantown Post Office for computer access and assistance.

“We are seeking City Carrier Assistants throughout Philadelphia with a starting pay of $19.33 an hour,” said Philadelphia Postmaster Roman King. “Many employees begin as a clerk or carrier and love the jobs while others pursue them as a steppingstone for additional opportunities. We encourage folks to stop by, tour the office and consider joining our team.”

In addition, on the same day (April 23rd) the Germantown Post Office, 5847 Germantown Ave., Philadelphia, PA, will be offering application assistance from noon to 3 p.m. “Applicants may have limited access to a computer, so we will have personnel onsite to help folks complete their applications,” King said.

As part of USPS’ Delivering for America Plan, the goal is stabilizing the workforce by creating opportunities to work for the government’s most trusted agency. To assist potential applicants, USPS personnel will be available to provide detailed information and answer questions about open positions. Applications are accepted online only at www.usps.com/careers. The careers page is updated frequently.
