On May 7, 2024, legislation to designate the Post Office building located at 101 South 8th Street in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, as the “Lieutenant William D. Lebo Post Office Building” was signed into law by the President. This legislation was introduced in the United States House of Representatives by Representative Daniel Meuser (PA-09).
Lt. Lebo, Officer Derek Underkoffler, Officer Ryan Adams and Officer Kris McCarrick responded to a domestic disturbance report. Lebo died in a shootout with a man who had broken into a home on the 1100 block of Forest Street on March 31, 2022.
