Postal Service Offering Rare Saturday Job Fair

Convenient opportunity for applicants currently working

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Post Office will be holding a rare Saturday job fair at its district office, 3190 S. 70th St., Philadelphia on August 9, 2025, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. The Postal Service has openings for city and rural carriers, automotive technicians and maintenance positions.

“We encourage applicants who are working a Monday thru Friday position and are considering a career change to take advantage of this Saturday fair,” said USPS spokesman Paul Smith.

Postal jobs offer applicants a tremendous opportunity to work locally. The Postal Service offers a fast-paced, rewarding environment with competitive compensation packages, on the job training, and opportunities for advancement. To qualify:

  • 18 years old at the time of appointment or 16 years old with a high school diploma
  • United States citizen, permanent resident or citizen of American Samoa or other U.S. territory for at least 5 years
  • Ability to clear criminal background check
  • Safe driving record (if applicable to position)
