Background:

The Bustleton Post Office, 9925 Bustleton Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19115 will be dedicated in honor of Sgt. Christopher David Fitzgerald on Sept. 14, 2025, at 1 p.m. Fitzgerald was killed in the line of duty February 18, 2023.

On November 25, 2024, legislation to designate the Bustleton Post Office building as the “Sgt. Christopher Daivd Fitzgerald Building” was signed into law by President Biden. The legislation was championed by U.S. Congressman Brendan Boyle.
