YOUNGSVILLE, PA — The Youngsville Post Office has been recognized as a top performer in customer service based on Point of Sale (POS) Customer Surveys since January 1, 2024.

The U.S. Postal Service’s POS survey collects the online responses to questionnaires found on receipts from Post Office transactions. The survey measures customer satisfaction with retail staff (efficiency, courtesy, knowledge, positive attitude) and the overall experience.

For the past two years, the Youngsville Post Office team received 330 POS customer surveys with a 98.18 percent overall satisfaction, the highest percent with the most surveys for a post office located in the northwest and central portions of Pennsylvania.

Retail Associates Amy Messinger and Nicole Long have been fixtures in Youngsville since 2015 and 2018 respectfully. Postmaster Laurie Matson started her career nearly 21 years ago in Youngsville and became Postmaster in 2022.

“I am grateful to live in a community like Youngsville and our customers are great. We all work together as a team,” said Messinger while Long adds, “Satisfied customers become loyal advocates; therefore, impressive service builds legendary reputations. Building this type of substantial consistency takes numerous outstanding deeds, but only one negative one to lose it.”

“We continue demonstrating the effectiveness of providing consistent positive customer engagement as the United States Postal Service celebrates 250 years of service to customers amidst a network modernization and transformation plan. Our goal is to ensure long-term financial sustainability, improve service, and maintain the organization as one of America’s most valued and trusted brands,” Matson said.
