Saturday is Career Day for Postal Service Job Seekers

PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia District of the United States Postal Service, 3190 S. 70th St., Philadelphia, will offer a Saturday Career Fair on May 16, 2026, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

“This is great opportunity for job seekers in the Philadelphia area to work right where you live,” said USPS spokesman Paul Smith.  “We have city and rural carrier positions available as well as auto tech and maintenance positions.”

The Postal Service offers federal benefits, career opportunities and retirement opportunities, and if you are 18 years old at the time of appointment, or 16 years old with a high school diploma, you would be eligible to be hired.

Requirements:

  • United States citizen, permanent resident or citizen of American Samoa or other U.S. territory for at least 5 years
  • Ability to clear criminal background check
  • Safe driving record (if applicable to position)
