WILKES BARRE, PA – The United States Postal Service has announced four new job fairs to be held throughout Central PA beginning the day after Memorial Day.

Scranton Post Office, 2800 Stafford Ave, Scranton, PA 18505 on May 26 (11 a.m. – 2 p.m.)

Wilkes Barre Post Office, 300 S. Main St., Wilkes Barre PA 18701 on May 27 (11 a.m. – 2 p.m.)

Reading S&DC, 2100 N 13th St., Reading PA 19612 on May 28 (11 a.m. - 2 p.m.)

Lehigh Valley Post Office, 17 S Commerce Way, Bethlehem PA 18002 on May 30 (9 a.m. -1 p.m.)

“This is great opportunity for job seekers to work right where you live,” said USPS spokesman Paul Smith. 

The Postal Service offers federal benefits, career opportunities and retirement opportunities, and if you are 18 years old at the time of appointment, or 16 years old with a high school diploma, you would be eligible to be hired.

Requirements:

• United States citizen, permanent resident or citizen of American Samoa or other U.S. territory for at least 5 years
• Ability to clear criminal background check
• Safe driving record (if applicable to position)
