Leola Letter Carrier to Receive Prestigious National Safety Council Million Mile Award for 42 Years of Driving Excellence

Background:

The National Safety Council (NSC) and U.S. Postal Service are working together to reward drivers who deliver on safety every day. The prestigious NSC Million Mile Award highlights drivers with 1 million miles of driving or 30 accumulated years driven without preventable incidents.

Rural Letter Carrier Peter Witman will be recognized with 42 years of driving excellence.

The Million Mile Club is part of the Safe Driver Award program created by the National Safety Council. The Safe Driver Award is the trademark of the expert driver and is recognized as the nation’s highest award for professional safe driving.
