OLD SAN JUAN, PR – Postal officials will seal or remove select Postal Service collection boxes as the community prepares for the 2019 San Sebastian Street Festival which runs from January 16 through January 20.

The familiar blue collection boxes will be inaccessible after the final scheduled collection of mail on Tuesday, January 15.  Impacted collection boxes will be reopened on the morning of Monday, January 21.

US Mail Collection Boxes impacted at the following locations:

• 153 Calle Fortaleza
• 300 Calle Recinto S
• 4 Calle La Puntilla
• 150 Ave de la Constitucion
• 306 Ave de la Constitucion
• 450 Ave de la Constitucion

In other news, on Monday, January 21, 2019, post offices throughout Puerto Rico will observe the Martin Luther King Jr. federal holiday. Post Offices will be closed and there will be no regular mail delivery.

Normal mail delivery, postal retail operations, and mail collections resume on Tuesday, January 22.
