Hato Rey Station, San Juan, Puerto Rico — When the door opens on Monday at 8 am in San Juan’s Hato Rey Station, the official kick off to Small Business Week with the Postal Service will start as that facility hosts the first event in Puerto Rico to demonstrate how the U.S. Postal Service creates services designed to help small businesses grow.

The Postal Service will host 5 events at local post offices and will join 2 events being hosted by the US Small Business Administration regionally.

“This ZIP Code Means Business” events will be staged through Small Business Week – May 5 to May 11 – as the Postal Service offers one-on-one counseling in its lobbies on solutions to assist with marketing efforts such as Every Door Direct Mail, shipping, returns services and its Direct Mail End-to-End Marketing Solution  online platform to help simplify sending Direct Mail.

Using the platform, postal officials note that small businesses can execute a direct mail campaign from start-to-finish in about 15 minutes.
