St John, USVI — Postal officials have expanded their list of impacts to mail operations in the Virgin Islands for Tuesday, September 24, as a result of Tropical Storm Karen:

• There will be no mail delivery on Tuesday in the US Virgin Islands – all ZIP Codes that begin with the three numbers 008 -- as well as in the neighboring islands of Culebra (00775) and Vieques (0076).
• Retail services are tentatively scheduled to resume at noon in these locations, providing over-the-counter services and access to post office boxes at that time.

All postal employees are reminded to call their EMERGNC hotline numbers within two hours of their reporting times to verify work requirements for the duration of Storm Karen, postal officials add.
