USPS Operations Update

Service Restoration Continues in Puerto Rico

PUERTO RICO — The Postal Service is continuing to restore service throughout Puerto Rico, following Hurricane Fiona. Mail and packages are being delivered as soon as it is safe to do so and our retail operations are resuming in most locations. The dedicated postal employees in Puerto Rico are working hard to provide the essential services on which our customers depend.

Operations Have Resumed:

Unless otherwise noted above, other postal facilities in the district are at normal operations.

The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
