PUERTO RICO — Postal customers are not just limited to individuals mailing letters or cards, many are small, local business owners. The Postal Service recognizes the importance of supporting small businesses, the jobs they help create, and the quality of life that they provide in every ZIP Code across the nation.
The week of April 30 – May 6, was National Small Business Week and to celebrate, postal employees in select Puerto Rico locations hosted “Grow Your Business Days” in lobbies large and small to help locally owned businesses grow and thrive. Events happened not only during the official recognition week, but throughout the month of May. A full list of participating Post Office locations and dates can be found in Holidays and Events - Newsroom - About.usps.com.
The free, community-based events are intended to educate small business owners and entrepreneurs on the wide variety of postal resources available to help them grow their business. Services include the Informed Delivery tool and many shipping options and can be found at a Post Office location or online at usps.com/.
