Postal Service Plans Relocation of Dorado Post Office

DORADO, PUERTO RICO — The U.S. Postal Service plans to relocate the Dorado Post Office, located at 100 Carr 698, PR 00646, to a space in the Paseo del Plata Shopping Center Bldg. 2, 696 Av. Jose Efron, Dorado, PR 00646.

The Postal Service has decided to proceed with the relocation because the current space is too small for our operational needs.

This project will allow the Postal Service to maintain and improve retail operations for our customers in Dorado for the long term. The Postal Service plans to provide services at the current facility until the new location is operational.

Since the Postal Service is sensitive to the impact of this decision on the community, customer input was requested and considered. To be self-sustaining, the Postal Service must make decisions that ensure it provides adequate and affordable postal services in a manner that is as efficient and economical as possible.
