Postal Service Plans Relocation of Ponce Atocha Station Post Office

PONCE, PUERTO RICO — The U.S. Postal Service plans to relocate the Ponce Atocha Post Office formerly provided at 92 Calle Atocha Ponce, PR 00730 to a new location.  

The Postal Service has decided to proceed with the long-term relocation to the current temporary Postal facility located at 13 Paseo Atocha, Ponce, PR 00730 because, due to a fire, the former location is no longer operationally viable.

This project will allow the Postal Service to maintain operations in the Ponce Atocha market for the long term. The facility will allow the Postal Service to continue providing service to the community.

Since the Postal Service is sensitive to the impact of this decision on the community, customer input was requested and considered. To be self-sustaining, the Postal Service must make decisions that ensure it provides adequate and affordable postal services in a manner that is as efficient and economical as possible.
