USPS Considers Relocation of Retail Services for the San Juan Main Post Office

45-day Comment Period Commences

SAN JUAN, PR — The U.S. Postal Service is considering the potential relocation of retail operations from the San Juan Main Post Office, 585 Ave FD Roosevelt, San Juan, PR 00936 to a new location new location space in the Las Plaza Americas Shopping Center 525 Calle Calaf, San Juan, PR 00918-9998.

The Postal Service is considering relocation to maximize efficiency.

The Postal Service will continue retail services in the current Post Office until the new Post Office is up and running.

San Juan customers have been notified about the potential relocation through a postcard, both in English and Spanish, in the mail and will have the opportunity to provide comments regarding the proposal.

We are inviting customers to send their comments on the proposal to the following address. Comments must be received by August 25, 2026.

After the comment period, the Postal Service will consider the comments received. Following that consideration, the Postal Service will make a final decision to proceed with, modify, or cancel the proposal.
