Rhode Island – We know that the holidays are a hectic time of year and the Postal Service wishes to relieve some of your holiday stress with extended retail hours at a Post Office near you.

On Saturdays, December 11 and 18, the Post Offices in Newport and Coventry will be open until 4 p.m.

The Main Providence Post Office will also be open on Sundays, December 12 and 19, until 4 p.m.

The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
