CHARLESTON, SC — If you’re seeking employment, mark Thursday, July 28, and Friday, July 29 on your calendar. The U.S. Postal Service will be hosting job fairs at the Summerville and Mount Pleasant Post Offices in South Carolina. Postal officials will be onsite to answer employment questions and assist with the application process for the following positions:

  • Assistant Rural Carrier (ARC) = $19.06 per hour
  • Rural Carrier Assistant (RCA) = $19.06 per hour + 81 cents per mile

All positions are paid bi-weekly. Applications are accepted online only at www.usps.com/careers.  Applicants must be 18 years of age, must have a valid SC Driver’s License, must use personal vehicle, be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation.
