Comment Period Commences
GRAY COURT, SC — The U.S. Postal Service is considering the potential relocation of retail operations from the Gray Court, SC, Main Post Office located at 411 W. Main Street, Gray Court, SC 29645, to a new space of approximately 9,000 square feet located at 26 Webb Dr., Gray Court, SC 29645. The proposed new facility will maintain the same level of service.
The relocation is being considered because the current facility is too small for our operations requirements.
The Postal Service will continue retail services in the current Post Office until the new post office is up and running.
Gray Court Post Office customers have been notified about the potential relocation through a postcard in the mail and will have the opportunity to provide comments regarding the proposal.
We are inviting customers to send their comments on the proposal to the following address. Comments must be received by April 20, 2024.
Attn: Gray Court, SC Main Post Office Relocation
United States Postal Service
P.O. Box 27497
Greensboro, NC 27498-1103
After the comment period, the Postal Service will consider the comments received. Following that consideration, the Postal Service will make a final decision to proceed with, modify, or cancel the proposal.
The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products, and services to fund its operations.
