Maintenance Electronic Technician

CHARLESTON, SC — The U.S. Postal Service is a great place to work, with job security, career advancement opportunities, and benefits. The Charleston, SC, Processing and Distribution Center (P&DC) has Maintenance Electronic Technician positions posted online at Careers - About.usps.com now through March 7. Electronic technicians perform complex testing, diagnosis, and maintenance of electronic equipment, identifying malfunctions, assessing service quality, recommending improvements, and analyzing failures for optimal maintenance.

Application Requirements: Applicants must be 18 years or older. All applicants must be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation. All mechanic positions have exam requirements and are career positions that offer excellent benefits. Citizenship or permanent resident status is required. 

Applicants must successfully complete Postal Service Test 955 for the electronic technician positions, which measures maintenance knowledge, skills, and abilities.
