OELRICHS, SD — The U.S. Postal Service has temporarily suspended retail and P.O. Box operations at the Oelrichs Post Office. The facility will be closed until scheduled maintenance can be fully completed.

“We plan to reopen the Oelrichs Post Office as soon as scheduled maintenance is completed, and thank our customers for their patience during this process,” said Hot Springs, SD, Postmaster Darcy Batt.

Retail and P.O. Box services for Oelrichs Post Office customers are now temporarily available at:

This is a planned suspension of this office due to scheduled maintenance, not a permanent closure. The U.S. Postal Service anticipates the reopening of the Oelrichs Post Office by Monday, February 22, 2021.

Customers can call 1-800-ASK-USPS or go to the Postal Service’s website, www.usps.com, to get the location of other nearby Post Offices and approved postal retail service providers.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
