Presentation planned at Chattanooga Main Post Office
CHATTANOOGA, TN – Chattanooga Postmaster Debra Groshko will receive a special piece of artwork from the Chattanooga Stamp Club and Collegedale Middle School 7th Grade students. The presentation will be held at the Chattanooga Main Post Office, 6050 Shallowford Rd., on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 10:00 a.m.
The artwork is a map of the United States, made entirely of postage stamps donated by the Stamp Club. The project took the students several months to complete. Following the presentation, the framed piece will hang in the Main Post Office lobby.
The Chattanooga Stamp Club, organized in 1932, currently has 33 members who meet monthly to promote stamp collecting.
