New location announced
OCOEE, TN – The Postal Service has announced the Ocoee, TN Post Office will reopen in a larger modular unit next to the tractor repair facility, approximately ½ mile from the previous location. The former location was destroyed by a tornado in November 2016. The new facility will maintain the same level of service for customers and the community. No official opening date or street address has been determined.
Customers will be able to access postal retail services at the new physical location, which is within the same geographical ZIP Code area as the previous location. There will be no changes to mail delivery, customer addresses, or Post Office Boxes as a result of the newly positioned Post Office.
Retail services will continue at the Benton, TN Post Office until all necessary preparations are completed and the new Ocoee, TN Post Office is open for retail business.
The Postal Service took note of all correspondence received during the comment period and appreciates our customers’ participation with this project.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
