NASHVILLE, TN – The lobby of the Church Street Post Office, located at 1718 Church Street, Nashville, 37203, was damaged in an overnight fire.

A mobile retail unit will be in place beginning Monday, June 7, 2021, to assist customers and distribute PO Box mail. The mobile retail unit will operate Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Retail operations will not be available at this location on Saturday, June 5, 2021.

Street delivery is not affected. Operations are temporarily housed at the Metro Station Post Office, 2245 Rosa L. Parks Blvd., Nashville, 37228.

The cause of the fire appears to be electrical in nature. Damage assessment is still underway. Currently, there is no information on a reopening date.
