Thursday, Nov. 11 is a Federal Holiday

Veterans Day Stamp

TENNESSEE – In observance of the 2021 Veterans Day holiday, Post Offices across Tennessee will be closed on Thursday, November 11, except for the Nashville Main Post Office. The Nashville location at 525 Royal Parkway, 37229, will be open on Thursday, November 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

There will be no residential or business mail delivery, except for Priority Mail Express.

The Business Mail Entry Units in Nashville, Memphis, Knoxville, and Chattanooga will also be open during regular business hours on Thursday, Nov. 11. Normal operations will resume on Friday, November 12.

USPS reminds customers that our online postal store is always open. At www.usps.com customers can buy stamps, print shipping labels and download postage, schedule a free package pickup, change their address when they move, look up a ZIP Code or place their mail on hold when they are far away.
In addition, Self-Service Kiosks, located in our Post Office lobbies, provide customers a convenient alternative to the full-service retail counter. To locate a self-service kiosk, go to the Post Office Locator on USPS.com. Then, follow these steps:

  1. In the drop-down list under "Location Types" select "Self-Service Kiosks".
  2. In the blank field under "City and State, or ZIP Code™", fill in your city and state or just your ZIP Code.
  3. In the drop-down list under "Within", select how far you are willing to go to get to a self-service kiosk. You will still be able to find self-service kiosks closer than that maximum range.
  4. Click on the "Search" button and you will see a list of Postal Service facilities with kiosks closest to the location that you entered.
