30-day Comment Period Commences
NASHVILLE, TN — The U.S. Postal Service is considering the potential relocation of retail services from the Arcade Station, located at 16 Arcade Alley, Nashville, TN 37219, to a new, yet-to-be-determined location as close as reasonably possible to the existing Post Office location.
The relocation project will consist of procuring a suitable substitute location, preparing the new location for use as a post office and then transitioning retail services to the new location. The Postal Service is considering locations within one mile of the current facility to be included in the search area. There will be no changes to mail delivery, customers’ addresses, or Post Office Boxes as a result of this relocation.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in lieu of a public meeting, we are inviting customers to send their comments on the proposal to the following address. Comments must be received no later than October 23, 2022.

After the 30-day comment period, the Postal Service will consider the comments received. Following that consideration, the Postal Service will make a final decision to proceed with, modify, or cancel the proposal.
Arcade Post Office customers have been notified about the potential relocation through a postcard in the mail and will have the opportunity to provide comments regarding the proposal.
The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products, and services to fund its operations.
