COPPERHILL, TN — Frankie Lee Womac Jr. is the newest Postmaster for the Copperhill community. He oversees the management of the day-to-day workings of the Copperhill Post Office which includes serving more than 2400 deliveries, 11 employees, 4 retail service units, and ensuring the organization’s rules and procedures are followed.
As Postmaster, Womac is an important part of the Postal Service’s “Delivering For America” 10-year plan to achieve financial sustainability and service excellence.
He began his postal career in 2003 after serving in the U.S. Army and studying criminal law at Central Texas College. He chose to work for USPS for the adventure and challenge. “In my years with the United States Postal Service, I have seen firsthand the role the Postal Service plays connecting neighbors and our community to the nation,” said Womac. “Our Post Offices also serve as a lifeline for our small businesses to reach customers no matter where they are.”
“To me, being postmaster is a prestigious position that entails a high level of responsibility, commitment and integrity, not only to our customers, but to my employees as well,” Womac said. “I am delivering for America by keeping the office running.”
