MORRISON, TN — The Tennessee District of the U.S. Postal Service is announcing a temporary suspension of retail and P.O. Box operations at the Morrison Post Office, located at 140 E Maple St., Morrison, TN 37357.
Effective Monday, May 22, 2023, the alternate locations for retail service are:
Manchester Post Office
1601 Hillsboro Blvd
Manchester, TN 37355
Retail Hours of Operation:
Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sat 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Sun Closed
Smartt Post Office
5174 Manchester Hwy
Smartt, TN 37378
Retail Hours of Operation:
Mon-Fri 7:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sat 8:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.
Sun Closed
PO Box service will remain available at the Morrison Post Office on Friday, May 19, 2023. The Morrison Post Office will be closed Saturday, May 20, 2023.
Beginning Monday, May 22, 2023, P.O. Box customers of the Morrison Post Office may pick up their P.O. Box mail at the Manchester Post Office. Access to the Manchester P.O. Box section is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Morrison P.O. Box customers will keep their current P.O. Box number and ZIP Code (37357) and no changes are needed regarding their mailing address. Customers can continue using their P.O. Box key when retrieving their mail. The Postal Service is communicating these changes with P.O. Box customers via letter and signage is posted to further provide information on this shift.
Delivery service is not affected and will continue uninterrupted. Customers with regular street delivery will pick up packages or other accountable items at the Manchester Post Office effective Monday, May 22.
The U.S. Postal Service apologizes for this inconvenience to our customers. More information will be provided as soon as it becomes available.
Customers can call 1-800-ASK-USPS or go to the Postal Service’s website, www.usps.com, to get the location of other nearby Post Offices and approved postal retail service providers.
