ALAMO, TN — Regina Walker began her postal career at the Dyersburg Post Office as a Rural Carrier Associate in 2000.

She worked as a carrier for over 16 years. In 2017, she worked as a Postal Support Employee (PSE) Sales, Services Associate in Trimble Post Office and a Sales, Services & Distribution Associate in Newbern Post Office. In 2021, she completed the Associate Supervisor Program after supervising at Dyersburg Post Office for nearly a year and a half. She accepted a promotion to Supervisor, Customer Services at Henderson Post Office. In 2022, she had the opportunity to serve as the Officer In Charge at Dyer Post Office before her current position.

In Alamo, Walker oversees postal operations, which includes providing a safe, engaging environment for her postal family of 7 employees who take great pride in delivery and collection, mail distribution, and window/retail service operations. Friendly and knowledgeable retail personnel greet customers who are mailing or shipping items at the Alamo, Maury City, and Crockett Mills Post Offices. Smiling, dependable carriers deliver mail and packages to approximately 900 residences and businesses six, and sometimes seven, days a week. Her clerks include Allyson Knight and Brandy Willingham; her carriers are Cherri Ray, Sabrina Sullivan, Gaylon Thompson, Zandra Thomas and Johnathan Hicks.
