U.S. Postal Service Announces Temporary Suspension for Bogota Post Office

BOGOTA, TN — The Tennessee District of the U.S. Postal Service is announcing a temporary suspension of operations at the Bogota Post Office, located at 9866 Highway 78, Bogota, TN 38007, due to flooding.

Effective Wednesday, March 5, the alternate location for retail service is:

Dyersburg Post Office
309 N Church Ave.
Dyersburg, TN 38024

Retail Hours of Operation:
Mon-Fri            8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Sat                   9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Sun                  Closed

P.O. Box customers of the Bogota Post Office may pick up their P.O. Box mail after 10:00 am Monday through Saturday at the Dyersburg Post Office. P.O. Box customers are reminded to bring proper photo identification for mail and package pickups.

Delivery service is not affected and will continue uninterrupted. Customers with regular street delivery will pick up packages or other accountable items at the Ridgley Post Office (120 Lake St., Ridgley, TN 38080).

Customers can call 1-800-ASK-USPS or go to the Postal Service’s website, www.usps.com, to get the location of other nearby Post Offices and approved postal retail service providers.
