SANTA MARIA, TX — Today, the U.S. Postal Service implemented a temporary emergency suspension of the Santa Maria Post Office, located at 11175 Military Rd., Santa Maria, TX 78592, until further notice pending an assessment of conditions at the facility, including a safety inspection of the building.
While the Santa Maria Post Office is under this temporary suspension, alternate retail and P.O. In an abundance of caution, and to ensure the safety of customers and employees, until the assessment is completed, no one will be permitted inside the facility. Currently, there is no timeline for resumption of postal operations at this office.
We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience to our customers. The safety and well-being of both customers and employees is of utmost importance to the Postal Service. We are working to resolve this issue, and will provide a status update to our customers once a thorough assessment has been completed.
