Allen, TX — Following a community meeting and U.S. Postal Service review of all public feedback, the Postal Service has made a final decision to relocate retail services from the Allen, TX, Post Office, located at 304 W. Boyd Dr., Allen, TX 75013, to a new yet-to-be determined nearby location.

The Postal Service anticipates providing the same services at the new location as were provided to our customers at the Allen Post Office. The Postal Service encourages customers to continue to transact postal business at the current Allen, TX, Post Office, until a replacement facility is open and operational.

While the Postal Service is sensitive to the impact of this decision on its customers and the Allen, TX, community, the Postal Service properly considered community input and this decision is consistent with Postal Service objectives.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
