July 18 meeting to discuss potential new postal retail services
CRYSTAL CITY, TX - The U.S. Postal Service is considering the potential relocation of retail services from the Crystal City Main Post Office, located at 221 E. Uvalde St., Crystal City, TX 78839, to a new, yet-to-be-determined location as close as reasonably possible to the existing Post Office location in order to better serve postal customers in the community.
The Postal Service invites you to learn more about this project at a public meeting to be held July 18, 2019, at 4:30 p.m., at the Nutrition Center, located at 1210 N. 7th St., Crystal City, TX 78839. Officials with the Postal Service’s Facility Department will be there to share information and answer questions.
Postal customers, including those unable to attend the July 18 meeting, may submit written comments to the following address:

The Postal Service will consider all comments prior to making its final decision. All comments and recommendations received by August 18, 2019, will be considered.
A public notice, along with a copy of the Postal Service’s letter to the Crystal City mayor, is currently posted in the lobby of the Crystal City Post Office.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
