USPS Takes Precautionary Measures by Adjusting Operations at Port Neches, Groves and Nederland Post Offices

Beaumont, TX — The Postal Service announced today that, in an abundance of caution and to ensure the safety and well-being of postal customers and employees, several post offices’ retail and P.O. Box services will be temporarily adjusted. This is due to the chemical explosion in Port Neches, TX. There is no timeline for when the offices will reopen, but the Postal Service will continue to provide updates to customers.

The information provided below shows offices that have temporarily suspended their Retail, P.O. Box and pick up services.

M-F 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Closed Sunday

*Special Note: Mail already inside P.O. Boxes at these locations will not be accessible. Only mail processed today and moving forward will be available at the alternate location. 

Delivery operations have been suspended, residential customers can pick up mail at the following alternate location:
