Hosting Drive-thru Job Fairs in Kyle, Austin, San Marcos

City Carrier Assistant

AUSTIN, TX — The United States Postal Service is a great place to work, with job security, career advancement opportunities and benefits. As package volumes continue to increase due to the steady trend of online shopping, the Postal Service anticipates an influx of mail volume in advance of the upcoming holiday season. As a result, USPS has immediate openings in the following positions:

  • City Carrier Assistant
  • Postal Support Employee Sales & Service Associate
  • Postal Support Employee Mail Processing Clerk
  • Tractor Trailer Operator
  • Mail Handler Assistant
  • Rural Carrier Associate
  • Assistant Rural Carrier

To assist potential applicants, drive-thru job fairs are being held as listed below. USPS personnel will be onsite to provide detailed information about each position and answer any questions. Starting pay ranges from $16.87 - $23.74 per hour, paid bi-weekly.

Applicants must be 18 years of age, and be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.
