Background:

On Friday, July 30, USPS Texas 1 District Manager Scott Hooper will join other elected officials and Hall family representatives at the dedication of the Fate, TX, Post Office in honor of former U.S. Representative Ralph Moody Hall.

On Feb. 27, 2020, Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-TX-4) introduced H.R. 5987, a bill to designate the facility of the United States Postal Service, located at 909 West Holiday Drive Fate, TX, 75132, as the Ralph Hall Post Office.

Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) co-sponsored a similar bill, S. 3462, in the Senate. The 116th U.S. Congress approved both measures, which became Public Law 116–266, on Dec. 30, 2020.
