Background:

Cindi “CJ” Tabbot was selected as Postmaster of El Paso, Texas on April 23, 2022. As Postmaster, Tabbot oversees delivery and retail operations at a total of 13 stations and branches, along with 2 detached finance units. The El Paso Post Office team is made up of approximately 843 dedicated individuals, serving an estimated population of 680,000 people. El Paso postal operations include a total of 382 city and rural routes.

Tabbot started her postal career as a clerk at the Miami Processing & Distribution Center in 1986, and joined the management ranks in 1990. She has worked in seven districts in diversified positions including Manager, Customer Services; Manager, Post Office Operations; Postmaster; Senior Manager, Distribution Operations; and Acting Executive Plant Manager.

Tabbot has an Associate of Arts degree from Miami Dade College. She is married to her husband, James, and has a son, Marc, who lives in New Orleans, LA.
