USPS Takes Proactive Steps to Protect Customers’ Mail ampersand: & Safety

Jack D. Watson Station Lobby Hours Temporarily Modified

Fort Worth, TX — Protecting the sanctity of the mail and ensuring a safe experience for our customers is extremely important to the Postal Service. Beginning February 21, USPS is undertaking a project to repave the parking lot at the Jack D. Watson Station, 4600 Mark IV Parkway, Fort Worth, TX, 76161.  To maintain the utmost security and safety during the repaving, effective Tuesday, February 21, lobby hours at the Jack D. Watson Station will be temporarily modified.

This means customer access to P.O. Boxes will be temporarily limited, according to the hours shown below.

Temporary lobby operating hours will be:
Monday through Saturday: 5:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Sunday: Closed

To further ensure safety during the construction project, customer access to the facility will be made via a temporary side entrance.  Signage will be posted to direct customers to this temporary entrance.

Customer parking will also be temporary relocated to the north side of the building.  Signs will be posted directing customers on where to park.

The blue collection box currently in the customer service parking lot will be temporarily relocated just off Meacham Blvd.  Pickup times for outgoing mail will not change.

Retail operating hours will also remain unchanged.  The current hours at Jack D. Watson are Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; closed Sunday.

It is anticipated that the project will be completed within 60 days, barring unforeseen circumstances, such as inclement weather.

We apologize for any inconvenience customers may experience, but the safety of both customers and employees is our priority.
