Background:

As Dallas City Postmaster, Daniel oversees delivery and retail operations at a total of 40 stations, branches, and finance units. The Dallas City Post Office team is made up of approximately 1,752 dedicated individuals, serving an estimated population of more than 1.3 million people. Dallas City operations include a total of 912 city and rural routes combined.

Daniel is literally coming back home to where his postal career began, in 1983, as a Dallas City letter carrier. He has held multiple managerial assignments of increasing responsibility, including Postmaster; Manager, Post Office Operations; Manager, Customer Service Operations; and Manager, Customer Service. He has worked in a variety of locations, including Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Albuquerque, Oklahoma City, and Plano, TX.
